Dr. Krishna Vageesh grew up in an environment rich in music, Sanskrit and traditional values. Initiated into music at an early age by his maternal aunt, Sangeethavidushi H. S. Mahalakshmi of Mysore, he developed a strong classical foundation and went on to complete postgraduate studies in music as a university topper and gold medallist.
Over the decades, his musical journey has brought together performance, composition, scholarship, thematic productions and the sharing of Carnatic music with audiences across India and overseas.
